Yes, I'm still working on all the top 5 meme prompts that I got and I haven't forgotten. *g* I just like making things complicated (You should see me cook a simple meal for company. It takes me days.) so I've made a fancy picspam to go with the list and I found quotes for all my moments. \o/
Leverage is up next though I think it's going to be episodes instead of moments since I'm a bit fuzzy on details for past seasons though episodes I can totally do!
Favorite BSG Moments for
time_converges:
These are my top 5 moments of right now (ask me in six months and you may very well get five different moments) and are episode order since my ability to decide for certain which is the MOST FAVORITE is nonexistent. It was tough enough narrowing it down to five!
1. Mini-Series Part I: Attack on the Colonies
The Cylons may not have had a plan as the series continued but they certainly had a plan at the beginning. An all-encompassing, horrifying plan that they pulled off without a hitch. One thing that made this scene so amazing is how beautiful it was in addition to being so terrible. The choice to put Baltar in this gorgeous house with wall-to-wall windows was perfect.
2. Flesh and Bone: Starbuck and Leoben
Starbuck spends the whole episode torturing Leoben and denying that he is in any way a person, and who could blame her? He and the rest of the cylons just did their best to completely wipe out her entire civilization. But...at the end she makes a connection.
3. Kobol's Last Gleaming Part II: Boomer shoots Adama
We knew that Boomer was struggling with her cylon nature and was basically split in two with her conscious side wishing desperately to truly be the colonial pilot she thought she was and her unconscious side doing its level best to destroy the fleet. However, it was still shocking to see her shoot Adama right in the middle of the CIC.
4. Exodus Part II: Saul kills Ellen
Exodus Part II is one of my favorite episodes of the series. We have the Galactica JUMPING into the atmosphere, Leoben convincing Starbuck to kiss him (yes, I ship them) before she knifes him, and the moment I picked in the episode: Saul killing Ellen for betraying the resistance. This moment is intense even without knowing what comes later but it's even better and more terrible when we find out that the leaders of the resistance are ALL CYLONS. I'd say that everything Cavil did on New Caprica puts him down as the biggest sadist ever created.
5. Crossroads Part II: Lee's speech
I trimmed it on the graphic since it is quite long but the whole thing is made of awesome. Baltar out of anyone on the show deserved to die but Lee is right, they do their best to forgive everything and anything. They have to improvise. They have no choice.
