Buffy Comics Wank/No News is Good News on the Rex Front?
Well, Rex is Not Your Lawyer is NOT on the spring schedule for NBC. In fact their schedule looks pretty dire! Law and Order and reality shows is about all they have. As for Rex, while it would be nice to hear whether or not it's being picked up for fall, I'm happy that it is not on the spring schedule actually. I want the people doing the show to have time to get it right rather than rush. Also, it seems as though this would be good news for Burke and Hare! *crossing fingers*
I really love David's response about the paps that were following him around on the set of Rex. (Listen here.) You can be the biggest thing Britain has ever seen and people in the US will be wondering who the hell you are. 'Why would people be following YOU around???'

Mostly I'm out of Buffy fandom but all the recent wank about the comics has me reliving my intense Buffy fandom days. Just a little though. Since I haven't read any of the comics, this big kerfuffle is most a spectator sport for me. *pops popcorn* *munches* Basically, Angel is Twilight, the villian in the comics series who is trying to kill off all slayers. Yeah, I don't get it either. But I Mostly, what I find amusing is that there are two comics series out right now for the Buffyverse, and they are NOW IN CONFLICT. Ooooh, are the writers of the non-Joss series annoyed.

If all of this has brought out some bad flashbacks to the days when BtVS and AtS were airing, I have a post from shipperx that will help you determine if you, yes you, have PTJS (Post Traumatic Joss Syndrome). This particular diagnostic tool is Spike/Spuffy-centric, but similar lists could be made for Bangel fans, Kittens, Xander fans, and other subsets of the Buffy fandom.
