Jesus tap-dancing Christ on a cracker! That is fucking hot.

Do you know if we ever have a chance of seeing a Region 1 DVD? (It would make my friend and me very, very, VERY happy.) Or is the only way to go the ol' torrent road?

The R1 DVD will be released after Hamlet airs on PBS, sometime this year.

You just made the day of at least 3 people. I tried looking at Wiki recently and it was hopeless, haha!

So wait. Hamlet will air on PBS. Will it be MASTERPIECE CONTEMPORARY? Will David introduce his own work? "Well, I'm fantastic in this work!"

I'll keep my ear to the ground.

It'll be on Great Performances. I've heard the date April 28 bandied about, but nothing official on that.

Yep, we're looking at a DVD release mid-year! And it will be blu-ray so we can get it in all its hd glory. Right now you can get sd but only in region 2, so I'm waiting for the real thing.

I'm a dinosaur who still has standard-def TVs, haha, so just a normal DVD will do me well. (Considering the DVD player in my room is a PS2 made in, like, 2001...yep.) It will do me VERY well. ;) He would also do me very well.

We have all the latest gadgets around here! Jay is very big on HD tv, so we have a couple. The question is then, can your DVD player handle region 2 DVDs? Most can but not all but it's easy to check.
