I didn't watch the Emmys (not my thing) but I did take a quick look at the winners and it seems as though the voters generally did what they always do - pick the one that they're most familiar with. Oh, I loved that clip! I watched the whole show (I didn't mean to but got sucked in) and really enjoyed NPH's hosting. I was disappointed with the winners since they are mostly shows I don't watch. NPH's opening number is also worth a look if you can find it!

I feel like Lost (which I love) has gotten the shaft since it became more sci-fi. Also, where were the BSG nominations? Apparently I need to be watching 30 Rock and Mad Men.

I was happy to see Little Dorrit get some recognition though.

I forgot it was even on until it was half way done and I don't watch most of the shows anyway so it's all rather academic to me. If I had known that NPH was hosting, I probably would have watched a bit just for him though. I'll see if I can find that clip!

Yeah, the academy does not like sci-fi. Which is why none of my shows have much of a chance.

I find any of these award shows too much to watch straight though (when I bother to watch at all) so it's good that we have the internet now. I'd much rather see the final list of winners and watch a few of the best clips.

It was especially awesome that it was the whole main cast (even if two of them only for a moment). It made me very happy.

Neil Patrick Harris was a great host, and this clip was awesome. Nathan Fillon being there as well was just magic. I'm so glad that he'll be back on my TV in Castle tonight :D

the skit too tho, something like:

Yes, I believe Castle does premiere tonight as well as TBBT.

I think when Captain Hammer mentions his favourite show being CSI: Miami, that was a joke as CSI: Miami is the show that Castle airs against.

OMG! I didn't even watch last night so thanks for posting this! So funny to see those four together....I so hope there are more Dr. Horrible blogs, because honestly that whole thing is freaking brilliant!

I didn't watch either! I just happened across this and had to share. I'd love it if they had a sequel but I'm not holding my breath. And there wouldn't be any Penny anyway (unless they resurrected her -- it could happen! Right?) so it wouldn't be quite the same.

I AM quite surprised tho that Nate didn't also mention Castle,
since it premiers today or next week, i think, AND he's in it.

Ah, my heart goes to Dr. Horrible all the way! I just love the character in his messed-up, stalkerish, wanna be evil way. And it doesn't hurt that NPH is an excellent singer as well -- Dr. Horrible's songs were my favorites!
