How to be a fantastic first date:
- Be spontaneous
- Be amenable to meeting masses of your date's friends and try to learn their names (and take it well when one of them mistakes you for someone else and subesquently dies of embarassement)
- Be attentive to your date
- Tell her how beautiful she is
- Profess your like for "Big Love" and discuss it at length and actually know what you're talking about!
- Ask to come back to your dates house, but in a completely vanilla, conversational way
- Don't come on too strong, but make your feelings known
- Don't pressure her to be lax on her newly-created two-date rule
- Kiss her sweetly goodnight
For those of you not at the munch last night, I had a date! It was awesome! We met on... collarme, of all places! We've been talking on MSN for a few weeks now, and I admit, he almost sounded too good to be true. He even met all of my stringent criteria!
Then yesterday afternoon, he (who shall henceforth be referred to as "P") text messaged me to ask if I was downtown and wanted to go out. I told him I was going to a munch, but he was more than welcome to come. And he did! We got along really well, and I think we really hit it off. *all smiley*
Did I mention he's Dom? And into the same things play-wise I am (bondage, breath play, violence, bloodsports, Master/slave relationships...)? So great!
Oh, and he looks like a cross between Brad Pitt and Vin Diesel (expect he's 6'4", not short lol). Need I say more? ;)
