Chloe looked at him for a second and shrugged a shoulder, "it's nothing you don't already know, Oliver..." she said quietly, looking up at him.

He drew in a breath and let it out slowly, sliding off her desk and moving so he was kneeling in front of her chair, his hands coming to rest on the armrests. "Chloe, I know this is hard. I can't really imagine how hard, actually," he admitted. "But you're strong. And you'll get through this. I promise."

He reached out and rested a hand on her arm. "Do you want me to talk to Clark?" he asked quietly.

"Okay," he said gently, letting the idea drop. For now. "Chloe, I hope you don't think that us all making it out alive is a responsibility that rests solely on your shoulders." He gazed at her intently.
