It was just before ten as Chloe made her way into the Queen Industries Metropolis building. She couldn't believe she was actually going to get an exclusive interview with Oliver Queen of all people. "Come on in." He looked up from where he was sitting behind his computer and offered her a friendly smile. He rose to his feet and extended his hand as he approached her. "So you're Miss Sullivan."

"That would be me," she smiled, taking his hand and shaking it as she stepped up to him, "nice meeting you, Mr. Queen."

"Likewise," he told her with a slight nod. He motioned to the sofa. "Please, make yourself comfortable. Would you like something to drink?"

"Water would be great, thank you," she said politely as she made her way to the couch.

Nodding, he made his way over to the small wet bar across the office and opened the mini fridge, pulling out two bottles of water. "Ice?" he questioned, raising his eyebrows.

"Cold is good enough, thank you." She said to him, crossing her legs as she adjusted over the couch.

Oliver crossed the room and sat down across from her in one of the chairs after handing her a bottle of water. He unscrewed the cap on his own and took a drink. "You're welcome."

She took the bottle and placed it on one of the coasters available on the coffee table before pulling out her voice recorder along with a notepad from her purse, "I have prepared questions for you, but was there anything specific you would like to talk about in today's interview?"

"Not really. I assumed this would be central as to why I'm suddenly taking up residence in Metropolis," he said, cocking his head to watch her. "But ask away."

"Partially," she nodded, smiling at him, "before we go officially on record, is there anything else you would like to say?"

A smile tugged at his mouth at the mischievous look she gave him and he raised his eyebrows. "You're wondering why I'm giving you an interview."

[chloeas]

"I was going to ask that question after I had all my other answers," she smirked then shrugged slightly, "but I suppose if you want to tell me now, we can get it out of the way."

"I've been reading your articles," he said with a shrug. "You have a unique voice and I enjoy your work."

[chloeas]

Chloe didn't bother hiding the surprise from her face as she looked at him, "really?" She asked then smiled and shook her head a little, "well, thank you. I had no idea you even paid close attention to the Planet, but I'm glad you enjoy my work."

He smiled. "You're welcome." He leaned back in the chair, resting his foot on one knee and taking a drink of his water, waiting for her questions.

With a deep breath, she pressed record on the device and looked at him, smiling, "okay, why don't we start with an obvious question, you have recently relocated to Metropolis, considering Star City is the base for Queen Industries, why the move?"
