They had been looking into the DC area hero for a while, Chloe had had information on the other woman for months and she knew at least a few things she was capable of already. This woman seemed to be just as power as Clark, if not more. And she really didn't seem to bother covering her tracks at all ( Read more... )

"Interesting it one way to put it," Chloe pointed out, looking over at her husband once more and arching an eyebrow before turning her attention back to the woman.

She'd have a talk with him later, right now, they had more important things to discuss, "it seems to me that there is a lot we could learn from you as far as how your people managed to find the balance to leave in peace. And we would be glad to help you understand our world and men in exchange."

"It works on women, too," she shrugged. "But it seems you men have more to hide when it comes to being tied up an Amazon warrior."

She managed an amused chuckle, crossing her arms over her chest and turning her attention back to the other woman.

"I would like that. Thank you, sister."

Oliver made a face at that, leaning against the ledge once more and falling silent, a frown settling on his mouth.

"Looks like you're in the right path learning about men already," Chloe told her.

"We don't live in DC, we're from California, but we will be in town for a couple days more, maybe we can meet somewhere and talk before we leave?"

"Wherever you'd like. I can be in your... California... at a moment's notice."

Oliver frowned at his wife's first statement, folding his arms across his chest and wincing a little. Apparently he was already bruising.

Chloe nodded a little and pulled out a card from her back pocket, she had grabbed it from the hotel's front desk and scribbled their names and phone numbers on the back in case it worked out, and she was glad to actually be using it.

"This is where we're staying and you have our room number and phone numbers on the back, just let us know when you're available and you can come by so we can talk." She told her, not sure if the woman had any idea where California was, but she could explain that to her eventually.

Diana took the card and glanced it over. Phone number. Right. Like she had one of those.

"Tomorrow night?" She glanced back at the woman, eyebrows raised. "I can come by at sunset."

Oliver rubbed his hand over the back of his neck. "That should be fine," he spoke up, nodding a little.

She nodded her head at both of them, giving them a faint bow and a small smile.

And with that, she lifted back up into the air and flew off to go find trouble.
