Chloe made it home a little before one with two big containers of mac and cheese and ice cream, she was pretty tired so she was looking forward to a long lunch before going back into work.
She looked around the quiet apartment, patting Mac with her free hand, "Mia?" She called, making her way into the kitchen and putting the ice cream away. She really wanted to talk to Mia about the boys talking, she hadn't really talked to Ollie about how it had gone with Ian since she ended up getting home late the previous night and then he had gone on patrol and she had been asleep the second he got home.
