They made it back to the Watchtower in no time and once they made sure Mia and Michael weren't going anywhere, they made their way to their floor, where Lois took the guest room Mia had been sleeping in when she was little and Chloe and Oliver made their way to their own room

His chest tightened at her words and he watched as she sat down on the edge of their bed. He slowly moved over to her side, swallowing hard. "I've missed you," he whispered, kneeling down in front of her and gently untying the shoes that were now on her feet.

"I missed you too," she whispered quietly, her chest clenching as she reached down to run her fingers through his hair, "you don't have to do that, Ollie, I need to take a shower."

He closed his eyes at the light touch and he carefully slipped one shoe off her foot, and then the other, pushing them beneath their bed. He blew out a breath, resting his head against her knees for a moment. "You're not hurt anywhere else, right?" He'd asked her already, more than once. But he couldn't stop himself from asking again.

"No," she whispered, running her fingers through his hair as she pushed her lips together, she knew he was holding back, holding in whatever it was he really wanted to say, but she didn't want to push him.

He drew in a deep breath and then nodded slightly, lifting his head to look up at her wordlessly.

Chloe held her breath, the look on his face hurt. She swallowed hard and slid down from the bed and cupped his face in her hand, her eyes tearing up slightly, "you're mad at me," she whispered, "and I don't blame you for feeling that way, but you need to let it out."

"I cannot lose you," he said quietly, his jaw tightening just a little. "I can't, Chloe."

She sighed deeply and nodded slightly, looking down then back at him, "I know," she whispered, "I know Ollie, I can't lose you either."

He swallowed hard, dropping his head for a moment and then looking up at her once more. "I was going to hold a press conference," he whispered.

Chloe blinked at that, frowning a little, "what for?"

He was silent for a moment. "I was going to tell the world who I really was," he admitted, dropping his gaze once more.

Her eyes widened instantly and she stared at him, "what? Why?"

Oliver drew in a breath and let it out slowly. "To draw their attention. I was desperate." His voice wavered a little. "It's what I was about to do when you called."

Chloe stared at him for a long moment then sat back on her heels, rubbing a hand over her face and closing her eyes as she blew out a breath, "God, Ollie..." she whispered, shaking her head slightly, if he had revealed his identity, if he had told the world his secret, it would be impossible for them to have this baby and keep it safe and the fact that it was such a close call, that really scared her.

He shut his eyes, too, winding his arms around her. "Don't ever do that to me again," he whispered. "Promise me."

She took a deep breath and held on to him tightly, closing her eyes as tears ran down her face, "it was my fault you got kidnapped." She whispered guilty, "I fell asleep, I'm so sorry, Ollie."
