Oliver watched Mia for a long moment, then rubbed the back of his neck, giving Chloe's hand a squeeze before letting go of it and moving to sit down on the sofa silently. His eyes were downcast as he folded his hands on his lap.
Mia turned her head towards them briefly, then finished up her roundhouse kick to the bag before leaving it, her fingers pale under the tight wrappings that kept her from splitting the knuckles.
"Obviously," she stated. "I don't suppose you're going to tell me where you're back from."
She was still sore about being left behind, especially with Oliver and Chloe so recently kidnapped.
Chloe watched Oliver for a second then turned to Mia, she didn't blame the younger girl for being angry, but hopefully this conversation would help her calm down.
"We are," she told her, walking to the fridge and picking up a bottle of water and then a small towel, holding both out to Mia, "have a seat, we have a lot to fill you in on."
Oliver shifted his gaze over to Mia, then hesitantly reached out and wound his arm around her shoulders, pressing a kiss to her temple. "She'll be all right," he whispered. "Clark's going to keep an ear out for her. And she's tough."
