Chloe sighed, annoyed as she pushed a box out of the way to get to the pile of boxes behind it, she had refused to unpack, even if she had been at that place for almost three weeks now. She was moving as soon as her six month contract was up because she hated it

"Every night since I moved here, except for one night when I heard them fighting, but don't worry, they made up. A lot," she told him, raising her eyebrows and looking from the ceiling to him.

He tried. Hard. But in the end, a smile quirked his lips and he couldn't help the chuckle that escaped him.

Chloe smirked a little and watched him for a second, relaxing slightly, "I tried tv, running the AC, music, even headphones, nothing is loud enough to beat them."

That made him laugh a little harder and he shook his head, trying to get past the laughter so he could speak. "Every night? Really?"

"I'm serious," she told him, grinning when she saw him laughing, pausing when a male groan came through the ceiling loudly, "I think one of them gets home around this time, so that's round one."

The groan set him off on another peal of laughter and then he started to cough from lack of breath. "Oh, God."

She was amused by how amused he was, so she relaxed and crossed her legs on top of the bed, "and this would be why I haven't unpacked yet, the will go again sometime later, usually around midnight, and then there is the morning sex. I swear he must be on Viagra or something."

After a few minutes, he finally recovered from his laughing fit and he stood up, holding a hand out to her. "Come on. You can't stay here, Chloe. You'll never get any sleep."

She looked up at him and at his hand for a second then back at him, "I can't go back to the clock tower," she told him quietly.

"I know," he said quietly, nodding. "So let me get you out of this rental contract and help you find some place safer and..." He glanced around, then up at the ceiling. "More quiet."

After hesitating for a second, she reached up and took his hand then stood up, nodding a little, "we can try, but I looked all over the city and other than moving back to the Talon apartment, this was my only option."

He gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "Trust me. We'll find you something better," he promised.

Chloe watched him for a long moment then took a deep breath, nodding slightly and then blinking as both people upstairs moaned together, she made a face, "I think they are done," she smirked a little.

"With round one, I assume?" He smirked.

[chloeas]

"Yeah," she moved over to the door and picked up her purse then looked over at him, "lets go before they start again."
