It had been a good day so far, they had just had lunch with Ollie and were now at one of Metropolis' biggest shopping strips. She grinned at Mia and pulled her until she was standing in front of the bigger mirror, "yeah? Think I should get it?" But she wasn't too worried about her own dress, "I really like that one Mia, I think it suits you. You look beautiful. And we can get some cute flats to go with it."

"I bet Ollie'd like it too," Mia confirmed, waggling her eyebrows suggestively. "You should definitely get it." She turned from side to side, trying to make a decision about her own dress. "Are you sure I don't look...I don't know...out of place?" she wondered, her voice quieting as she asked it. It had been second hand clothes, then totally trashy-looking clothes, mixed with work-out and fighting gear for a while now. She'd kind of forgotten how to look pretty.

She got the hint, but simply grinned brighter at it, she didn't want to tell Mia anything about what was going on between them, they hadn't really talked about it yet, so it was better to wait. Besides, Mia was a smart girl, Chloe wouldn't be surprised if she had figured it out on her own.

"You're just not used to the style," Chloe said, gently reaching for Mia's ponytail and and pulling the elastic band from it, adjusting Mia's hair over her shoulders, she looked so much gentler than usual, younger, lighter, how a seventeen year old should be, "I think it's great."

Mia smiled tentatively at the girl in the mirror, the smile brightening when she found that she liked what she saw. A normal girl. A happy girl. She bounced lightly on her toes. "Okay, I'll take it."

Grinning brightly at Mia through the mirror, Chloe nodded, "awesome, we already have a dress each at least," it was refreshing to see Mia like that and to know she was able to help her.

"Okay, go try the white one on, I think that will be great for the next time we go to Star City."
