Chloe did try to go to bed, for all of five minutes, before she gave up. She was a little restless, even though she liked Star City a lot and was glad to be there with Mia and Ollie, knowing that she had to meet with Zod soon and find out more about their project was making her anxious to go back

He smiled faintly. "If you and Mia are the company? Always." His voice was quiet.

Chloe smiled a little more and nodded, "I think she's doing better, don't you?"

Oliver considered that for a moment. "I think so." He fell silent, looking uncertain.

[chloeas]

She shook her head a little, "you're helping her a lot, Ollie, stop kicking yourself," she smiled softly, "the bow thing, it really meant a lot to her."

"It wasn't something I planned," he told her, moving to sit down on the edge of the bed. "But when I saw it...I can't explain it. It just felt right." He looked up at her.

"She seemed very excited," she nodded, moving to sit down next to him, "I think it was a good way for you to let her know she's important to you."

A soft smile touched his lips. "Yeah?" He gazed at her for a few seconds, resting his hands on his knees. "I've been doing some thinking."

Cocking her head, she raised her eyebrows curiously, "yeah? About what?"

He studied her for a moment. "My dad had a brother. He died a few years ago. To the best of my knowledge, he didn't have any kids, but there's always that possibility, right?"

[chloeas]

"Oh," Chloe nodded, raising her eyebrows and sitting up slightly, "I can look into it."

"I wanna run it by her first," he said softly. "I'm just...not sure if she'd be open to it at this point." He gazed at her. "What do you think?"

"Wait, what?" Chloe frowned a little, confused, "I thought you meant you wanted me to look into your uncle and see if he did have any kids."

Oliver shook his head slightly. "He didn't have kids. I kept track of him over the years because he was my only living relative. I was just thinking...it wouldn't be so much of a stretch to think he had and that she turned up in Metropolis last fall to look for her only living relative." He gazed at her.

Pursing her lips together, she frowned a little, "you think Mia is related to you?" Chloe paused and shook her head slightly, "while there might be a small possibility, I think she would have mentioned it, Ollie."

He chuckled softly. "No, Chloe. I meant...it would be easy for other people to understand her sudden presence in my life, and give her a new identity in the process."

"Oh," she relaxed a little, smiling softly and nodding, "that I can see and I can definitely help you with."
