Weekend at last

I had *plans*. But those plans have rather changed already.
Plan 1: cut out new muslin for short Regency stays, and do nothing today but work on those. And get the muslin cut for my Regency ball gown.

Caviat to Plan 1: originally hubby was supposed to be working today, which would mean no interruptions, no making dinner, and nothing to get me out of the sewing room except procrastination. Except last night he told me he's decided not to go to work and is taking the day off. *sigh*
Plan 2: still have Sunday and Monday to sew.
Caviat to Plan 2: except my friend emailed me last night and asked if I wanted to go see Miss Potter on Sunday. Well, OF COURSE I do. But she wants to go in the middle of the day, 1:40pm showing, so that sucks up a good part of the day. I'm trying to get her interested in the 11:20 showing instead. And hubby will be home, so must make dinner. Which is of course an nice Easter dinner but have no plans yet what to make. Maybe a pork roast? That sounds good but need to go to the market to get one. And must do that today.
Which leaves Monday. Let's see, need to go to bank, grocery shopping, and to the mall since I'm running out of three of my make-up supplies. I've put that off for so long, I'm down to the dregs.

Major Plan of action: MUST get muslin made because my sewing group day is next Sunday so I have no excuses and plenty of stress needed to get that and my Regency bodice muslin done so they can be fitted.
I think I'll call in sick on Tuesday to make up for lost time. And that will use up more of the sick leave I'm accumulating and must use before I retire.
