On to other news...
Our library basement flooded a few weeks ago on a Saturday when I happened to be working. The Saturday I'd worked before that, the plumbing backed up and we had to close all the bathrooms.
Day before yesterday our power went out for forty-five minutes.
I wonder if our building is going to last or is going to fall down around our ears.

Its after ten and my neighbors are still out enthralled with fireworks. I lit mine and hung with the block this afternoon. It was a conscious effort to get to know them. I am now convinced what I had only suspected before. I live in Stepford.
We lit fireworks and I climbed on my roof to watch the fireworks show from the nearby high school. Pretty amazing show. We are a crazy people, aren't we? smiling...we all get the same expression when watching fireworks.
