cough cough misery cough cough
Everytime we take Mr Noah to the church nursery, we all end up getting colds. I'm just so glad it takes a while for each of us to get it from Noah so there is one of us to take care of him during the duration of his illness.
Well, now it is my turn. The sore throat is what i hate the most.
1st day that throat tickle thing
2nd day nothing and i feel like "YAY i skipped it"
3rd day BURNING sore throat and itchy nose and burning eyes and dull ache in head
4th day irritable and sneezing and then THE COUGH
5th day COUGH
6th day COUGH
7th COUGH
8th and so on.....until the next time we take him to the church nursery and wah la...we go through it again.
Those new vapo-plugs for colds where you lug a little menthol deal into your electrical socket really works. But it makes my feet and my nose cold. go figure..im weird i'pose.
The worst thing about being sick is when you are broke. Can't even get a over-the-counter remedy, just have to deal with it. I guess my garlic clove try-out didn't work afterall and i am NEVER doing that again....man, my mouth was nasty for days, just felt slimy and gross. I'll never eat a whole garlic clove to stop a cold...i'd rather be ill.
Lisa Marie Presley was just on Ellen snarling a song. She doesn't look like a very happy person.
