hunka hunka roastin' meats!

Well,
the roast is finished and yummy!
all i did though (lazy) is shove it in the crock after browning it with some onions. But wow the meat is very tender...i can just rip it off and its so tender. This isn't my lil' roast, mine didn't look as photogenic...but here is visual aide.

My husband had his interview today.
He said he thought it went well.
They said they'd call within the week.
Cross your fingers and buttcheeks for me.
Then he got home and we went (alone..yay) to eat a lil' something and then have ice-cream.
I got nutty coconut(baskin robbins) and it was gross.
Only one thing I HATE in life and that eating shredded coconut. It feels like eating hair to me. Its all grainy and you can't control where it going in your mouth. YUCK!
I know you're probably thinking "uh duh..its COCONUT you Doofus." well i know, but the lil' sign said coconut flavored ice cream with pecans and walnuts. NOTHING about shredded coconut.
ACK!

oh i also hate beets, but i AM going to keep an open mind and try them the way shadowduchess said to! i haven't had them in a while..maybe i have grown up and my taste buds may very well like them now. that happened to me with coffee and grapefruit...so we'll see.

One thing I ruined for myself was hotdogs. I ate them when i was first pregnant and back then i was WAY morning sickness QUEEN. oh it was hell. so i ate it and well..blah..now i won't touch them. I quit eating avocados during my pregnancy because i love them and didn't wanna ruin that for myself too.

so, thanks to a new friends: Shadowduchess, Atrix_Daisy and Rengal oh and a lovely book i am reading about a Jewish girl Nazi Germany called "the Seamstress", I am going back to my sewing machine. Wish me luck and blessings and sewing fairies and a TON of patience as I re-embark (can you RE-embark something..lol) on the world of sewing and whatnot. I have ZERO patience in life, so the second my thread get caught down in the machine..i flip out...turn the damn thing off and there it sits! I was making diaper covers with intent on selling them..they we're soft and precious and made with knit fabric...not exactly sturdy, but sweetand cuddly for newborns. And knit isn't the easiest thing to sew on..slides around and stuff..well after i made ONE i thought i was hot shit. ugh nope! TRY VELVET! (no, not for diaper covers..although HEY Rengal..wouldn't that be FABU??!!! A deep purple diaper cover with gold trimmings for Wee!)

HOLY COW! I AM GONNA MAKE IT FOR YOU!! You make the rest for a Turkish baby outfit! Imagine if we marketed period costumes for babies!?
oh well..now i have spilled the beans on it, so it'll be no good. BIG MOUTH! (yes, i know about edit..lol)
SOoooooooooooooooooo.
Long story short..wait where was i...how did i get from meat to velvet?
oy i am tired! and my eyes are burning from allergies...plah.
i love you, u love me we're a happy family (gunshot heard)
