I hate when the weekend is over. plah.
here is Noah today! He is digging with one of those huge spoons like they have in Raymond's mother's kitchen on "Everybody loves Raymond". i bought them for my apartment i had up by the mountain. i had a "60's Grandmother's house" motif..you know gold couches and one of those hanging oil lamps with a Grecian lady inside and oil running down in tiny streams. I remember sitting in it more than one time saying to myself "this is mine!" and giggling to myself.
That apartment was the BEST thing I ever had in life that was my very own...paid for on my own...decor on my own...it was adorable and i did it all my my lonesome! Sometimes...i think i left part of my heart up there..i always felt so safe and secure. MY home! MINE MINE MINE ALL MINE it was! (oy..obsessing..)
This is what my momma calls "ice plant" this was originally on my Grandpa's and Grandma's place in a very small town in NM called the Chile capital of the world, Hatch. We tranplant it everywhere we move. Neet huh? They lived on that farm from 1932 til they past away in the early 80's and now my mother has it all over the ground on one side of that yard and i have some here in a big pot. I also left some at the house we used to live in. HEY! If anyone wants some...i'll slip it in a box with a wet paper towel and send it to you..then you plant it and you can always think of me and my Grandma! What do ya say? LMK! It'd make me so happy! :) This way it went from NM to TX and then.....
