Today is the day or bereavement to Filipino people because 3 of our countrymen were executed in China due to drug trafficking. I feel sad that they have to die that way. They did something wrong and they did that wrongful act in a foreign country wherein the law is absolute. I feel sad that my fellowmen has to take this kind of job. being a drug mule, transporting drugs for a big amount of money, yes its big but sometimes its just a one time deal. But you never know if that just luck is good or bad. Easy money, easily gone.
I feel sorry for the family that they left behind. The burden was huge. it will be inevitable that their kids will be bullied in school. The society today is harsh. i just hope that people will be more understanding.
I admire those 3 who died for their reasons , to help their family, to send their kids to school, but their methods they chose is never an admirable one. Drugs is a sin. it destroys peoples lives totally unacceptable. The risk they took is a bid one so big that they pay for it with their own lives. It's saddening that it happened now we Filipinos have to learn from this. in this life we have to work hard so that we can get what we deserve and what is rightfully ours.
