(no subject)
So I went into work today cause my manager begged, begged, begged me to come in and take over a shift.. so I did. Wednesday nights are pretty boring and I thought I could get some reading done for Histology at least. I didn't expect to run into a classmate from the Chinese class I took last spring who came with friends. We were all.. "ooh didn't know you worked here, blah blah blah" and I sat them at their table. I ran past their table again and he invited me to a few shots of sake and well, I didn't refuse. He was overtly flirting with me and since I'm hostessing I couldn't tell him to bugger off so I just kept smiling and tried to engage in a conversation with his friend instead. Then he sputters out, "Oh, you're single! I should have asked you out when we were in Chinese" and his friend was HORRIFIED and spat out "Dude, you have a kid coming. He's married!" and I'm like.. "Whoa, what?!" and the girl sitting beside him just kind of glares at me and said, "Yeah, that's me. I think we should be leaving now". Eek. I congratulate them on their pregnancy and just walk off.
I cannot believe the nerve! AH! Boys make my skin crawl.. *shudder*
