Real Life Three Faiths Come Together
I went to an interfaith meeting last night and it was amazing. It was just so cool seeing three faiths coming together and talking about one subject in a respectable manner. It was really cool seing three faiths coming together and seeing them be connected. I was so happy that my church was hosting it and representing Christianity. It's about time we were recognized as christians. A woot woot! I'm LDS AKA mormon and sometimes we aren't recognized as christians which is kind of ridiculous since are name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. So anyway it really was great seeing a Rabi, Mission President, and a Muslim (I don't know what he was called) Official all speak on Abraham. And saying that is something that all our faiths have in common. I really liked the Muslim guy. He had a great way of talking and he was really entertaining. I loved how he was saying that everyone was responible for themselves and their actions were what made them blessed. I really beleived that so I love that. I really do like learning about different religions and seeing what they have in common with my religion so this was an awesome experince.
