I don't think I've come to terms with that latest episode yet. I still don't quite believe it.
I will sorely miss the actress who plays Sybil. And she was always so much more modern and sensible than the rest of the household. Poor Branson. I hope he's able to stick with his daughter and raise her. I get the feeling he could be a great dad if he got the chance.
Please, please, please don't let anything happen to Bates. I'm v. worried on that front. Someone is going to do something stupid and something bad is going to happen!
Thomas crying! *hugs him and his poor unloved self* I want something good to happen to Thomas. He needs it. He may not deserve it with the way he schemes, but he needs it.
I'm very much rooting for Edith and her writing career - What was it the dowager countess said? "You're a woman with an able mind and you're not an idiot, so stop whining and find something to do." Something like that. :) Edith needs something for herself that she can call her own.
Not sure things will ever be the same for Cora and Robert. Hooray for Mrs. Crawley for hiring Ethel and for Mrs. Hughes...sort of sticking up for her. Anyhoo. Them's my ramble. What are your hopes, dreams, fears for Downton?
