I can haz new glasses!
They've got kind of a feathery tortoiseshell pattern on the stems, very pretty and bookish - and no glare! Everything seems a lot clearer without any glare on the lenses! Amazing!
My eyes are a bit tired, but I imagine that's to be expected when changing prescription after about ten years. I know, I know.
Funny though, I was about to leave the house earlier and saw my old glasses sitting by my bedside and thought, 'Oh, I better put my glasses on!' when I of course already had my new glasses on. Heh. My niece exclaimed, 'Why are you wearing glasses!?' when she saw me since I suppose the others aren't really that noticeable as they were kind of a pale metallic purple wireframe pair. It was funny though. I really had to convince her that I always wear my glasses. She's five, it was pretty cute.
