Does anyone else get thousands of plot bunnies for *other* stories while writing Nano? Because the fanfic bunnies seem to be flocking to my lack of carrots.
Man, I haven't had a fanfic notion since the spring. I think something has gone wrong in mah brain. :c
But in previous years! Yes, most definitely! The one year I had to put NaNo aside, frantically bash out a fic, and then zoom to catch up with the NaNo pace again... Hurray for undergrad! XD
Oh, good, it's not just me. :) It's awful, I feel guilty for having them since part of me would rather be writing the bunnies than Nano! And I'm very tempted to write them anyway, since having more to do might...make me more productive?
HA!! Highly unlikely! I just haven't got an obsession-level fandom at the moment, so there's no... breeding ground for plot bunnies...? Wow, that didn't seem so creepy before I actually typed it. O_O
I say write 'em and count them toward your NaNo wordcount! >:-D There's nothing in the rules that says the 50,000 has to all be part of your one novel, or even that it all has to be original fic!

You are a horrible influence - and a wonderful one at the same time. :D
