Snowday? Snowfail.
I'm a little confused as it wasn't snowing when I got up this morning, but work did call to say we're closed so... Here I am! Hmm, lunch to make first then some dribble drabble ficlets to work on... and there was something else I was going to do, but now I can't remember it. Got a few other things done this morning while the connection was being Fritzy so I feel vaguely productive in spite of the impromptu day off.
Oh, and crazy dream! I dreamt my family and I were at this big awards ceremony and there was a professor-somebody there who let one of my brother's get free drinks at the bar. *shrugs* And then I went out...of the library, huge atrium type place only to get bombarded by causes wanting me to donate or something. There were two little girls on the huge steps under some kind of tent they'd made up - which was this bright orange yellow. And their cause name was the VNN. (Whatever that is. Even my dream self was trying to puzzle it out, but it seemed like it was related to the NAACP...so random.) So these two little girls, on about 10 and the other around 5 were telling me these stories, not even necessarily related to their cause they were promoting, and they were just so cute. so I guess I stuck around and sat on the steps with them until I got woken up.
I also had a dream the other day that I was getting married. Don't think I've had one of those before. I don't know who was playing my mom in the dream but it wasn't my mom. Heh. I was very calm and focused about the whole thing though. Give me a problem and yo, I'll solve it check out the hook while my DJ revolves it seemed to be my mentality. Interesting...
