Lights, camera, action!
Saw Nine in the theater tonight... I can't say much for the movie itself, but the actors were so, so lovely.
Daniel Day-Lewis - So beautiful even at...whatever age he is. That smile... Man, that smile. And he did a very convincing Italian-English accent. His character? Ugh. For the most part. I did sympathize with him a little at the very, very end, but mostly he was a narcissistic, self-centered idiot jerk. Heh.
Kate Hudson - hot in that number she did. She was just so deliciously bubble gum and what a great song she had.
Nicole Kidman - Very pretty, but mostly a prop.
JUDI DENCH!!!!! - Hee, she and her character were awesomely awesome. :D
Penelope Cruz - Eh, mostly I just felt bad for her character. *shrug*
Marion Cotillard - She was so... She was the icing on the cake. She was gorgeously gorgeous, perfect costumes, great songs and she got some great songs to sing.
All in all, totally rocky beginning, long middle, but once Marion Cotillard's character gets in the picture, things start moving. And I actually liked a majority of the songs.

Oh, p.s. It was very sad to see Anthony Minghella's name in the writing credits. It must have been one of the last screenplays he worked on. :(
