I have conquered the bathroom!! Yayayayay! Second coat of paint done and aside from some caulking, and a hideously thorough cleaning, it is done!!
Note to self: no more Do It Yourself projects...when it's just Yourself.
The roach, though, he ruined my victory. But I keeeeelled him good. *sigh* I really like/hate this apartment. It's not like you can actually get *rid* of roaches in an old, badly maintained building. Ants I could make go away, and the mice can be somewhat deterred... The darn roaches, they just look so smug when I actually do see them. Granted, this is only the third I've seen and killed in...a month and a half, so it could be worse, but man, if they're coming out in the open.... It just doesn't bode well.
Second note to self-- Never fold to peer pressure again.
