TV talk - House, Pushing Daisies

SPOILERS, SPOILERS, SPOILERS. But you knew that didn't you?

Now, I watched all of these in the same night, so I may be getting things from the House episodes interchanged. Forgive.

Dude. That was one of the few times I thought there was someone crazier than House. I could *not* believe the Doctors W/o Borders guy would make a patient sick just to... It boggles the mind. I mean, I think we can all understand where the guy's coming from, but... I'm glad House told Foreman to call the cops.

Speaking of Foreman, I totally thought Foreman was acting not Foreman-like the whole ep, until the end when we found out that it totally wasn't his fault. Oh, and the Cameron/Foreman stuff only reinforces my theory that Cameron/Foreman would really work. The Chase/Cameron bits were adorable as always. I like that Chase is so laid back now. He's completely wonderful like this. :)

House at the CIA though? That was nuts. What was up with the dialog? Did the writers take a bunch of crack? Cuddy's vagina, House's staff/penis, making a pass at Michael Michele a thousand times? It very much didn't seem or sound like House. Or maybe I'm just prudish. It was weird. Plus, him hiring her? Totally nuts! There was absolutely nothing interesting about her! Yet another thing that seemed out of character for House. (It probably didn't help my viewing of the episode that I thought Michael Michele was Vanessa Williams, whom I vehemently oppose being an actor. Some people can do the crossing between media, but that doesn't mean everyone *should*. /soapbox)

So anyway. Yeah. Craziness!

Uhh, the next episode. Groaned out loud at the idea of a reality show on my show. But House agreed with me at least. OMG, it was PRICELESS seeing the edits they made at the edit to make House come out like a nice guy!!! That had me and my friends laughing our asses off.

And then Cuddy's line to tease him about having deaf children to go read to...bwhahaha!

I'm not sure why they felt the need to have the big hush hush intense moment with House and...Taub? Is that his name. Plastic Surgeon Guy. So he cheated. That's not new on this show. Wilson is a widely known philaderer! Although, I suppose he never did it at a private practice with one of his employees and no one knows about the whole Grace thing. Still. Blah, blah, blah. I like that House thinks he's interesting though.

Although, on that note, there's not really anyone I'm rooting for to stay. Except Thirteen, because she seems to be the smartest, and duh, she's pretty. :D And after my review of the previous episode, I doubt any of you are shocked that I'm happy he fired MM's character.

All in all, both episodes were pretty ridiculous, though, I did enjoy both Cameron and Chase's inabilities to deal with the camera, and Wilson's completely nonchalance and amusement in front of the camera + the telling tall tales about House! Hee.

Wilson and House in the A/V closet! Hee! They're too cute.

Not much I can say here except the piemaker needs to do it with Olive, and I LOVE Emerson. I'm butchering this but I loved when he was refuting the Piemaker's statement that he and Olive were nothing but platonic. "There's nothing but tonic..." whatever else he says. Ha! Tonic and platonic.

It's an amusing show. I'm still not head over heels for it, mostly because I don't think Chuck or Ned are particularly strong characters, but I like the staging, I like the outrageousness of it. I finally noted that Ned always wears neutral colors whereas Chuck, Olive and Emerson wear totally bright fairytale/Amelie-like colors. :) So that's something cool about it. Plus Emerson, you know. ;)

*brushes hands together* And that. Is that.
