TV talk, etc.
So, my friend is a doll collector. Normally, a doll is put in/on a stand to keep it standing up to show it off. Usually, a stand has a circular part that wraps around the doll's waist like arms, and that part is attached to a vertical stem. My friend got a new doll last night and the stand was just a simple metal tube. No circular thing, and I joked, "There muse be another piece, unless she's got a special hole..." I honestly hoped I was wrong, but lo and behold, the doll not only had a special hole in her body, she had a hole in her pants as well, so the stand would be full functional. Needless to say, we both cracked up, and were slightly mortified in our prudishness to be shoving a metal rod up a doll's ass. *ahem* Anyway...
So, we've been watching S2 of Lost, and I love it, of course. (Although, *growl* I had to miss the primere of Numb3rs last night for it. But they promised I could watch it on On Demand, so I agreed.) The Jack/Sawyer is running around like a mad jogger in my head, and I want to kick Sawyer and Kate. I also want to kick the episode "Fire + Water." I don't see how that ep was necessary with making Charlie the uber pariah and all. :P Anyway, enjoying it muchly. I have other more spoilery things I could rant about, but perhaps in another more Lost centric post. Anyone know when the new season begins? Or has begun?
Was anyone else super disappointed by the primere of CSI? I was. And omg I watch too much TV! Oh, but Shark was good. James Woods totally rocked that house. Maybe I just like his funny voice a little too much. :) Anyway. I'm sorry I haven't been doing my usual House ravings. Just...not much to rant or rave about so far.
