Fic: Drabble - Angel/Wes
For theferretgirl who wanted happy boys from only_beginning. "With Snuggling and Dilbert. Angel and Dilbert should have a serious talk from vampire to teddybear."
More of a double drabble. :) BEWARE THE SAPPINESS! You've been warned. :)
“I love you too much,” Wesley said with a sad smile, hand cupping Angel’s cheek.
“You don’t love me enough.” Angel mirrored Wesley’s gesture.
“Too much isn’t enough?” Wesley’s brow scrunched in confusion.
“I’ll never get enough of you loving me.” Angel smiled.
“Angel.” Wesley admonished, bopping him lightly with his teddy bear that was conveniently between them. “What a sap. Who knew the Scourge of Europe was such a sap?” Wesley tutted before letting his eyes close. “I love you, my Angel.”
“Love you too, Wes.” Angel said, brushing hair back from Wesley’s face and kissing his forehead.
Angel smiled as he watched Wesley doze off, Dilbert, the ever-present teddy bear, snuggled happily between them.
“You know,” he whispered to Dilbert, “I think Wesley might actually be happy.”
Dilbert smiled happily back at Angel, black eyes un-blinking and friendly expression permanently in place.
“I think he just might be.” Angel ruffled the bear’s fur. “Think I might be too.”
Angel was too busy watching the unchanging expression on Dilbert’s face to see a tiny smile creep across Wesley’s.
