I don't really think that it's that big of a deal, anyway. Parties are usually boring when you're a freshman. By the time parties matter, your mom won't have a say in what you do, really, or else she'll have grown out of it.
Social relationships are meaningless anyway. I would have thought that someone like you would revel in the lonliness? Sure, you're restricted, but it also open sother doors that people can't even see when they're blindsided by the alleged importance of being everywhere with everyone at every time.
People are irrational, unreasonable, and idiotic. It's life.
Run with it. Make the best of what you're given.
That's all I can say, but if you want a better answer, ask some Burleigh girls or something. Just don't think for a second that anyone actually has a care for what happens in your life, because you can't always assume that when asking for advice.
