I am tired; again, I am up late trying to finish my homework.
There's much studying and homework to be done. Atleast, today I finished my MCweb homework for this week.
Today, I went to Peter's b-day party at the Cheesecake Factory in Irvine Spectrum. Tuan called at like 7 to pick me up but he was still at work so he finally came at 7:30. Did I mention that the dinner started at 7pm? Well yeah, we were running late, but Tuan and I did not get him any birthday present so we quickly went to the Dollar Store and got him...unique gifts. I got him a little kid's umbrella and picked out the birthday card. Tuan got him a suck a thumb candy, those clown glasses with a nose and mustache, glow-in-the-dark glasses/thingies, small game quiz cards, two six pieces of gummy rats (disgusting), and finally the four award marks that said, "I tried my best," "I am a good listener," "Jesus loves me," "I am a dancer," and something else, it was quite random and funny.
In the car driving to the Cheesecake Factory, I quickly organized and put all the gifts in the bag with confetti. When we got there at 8pm, everyone already finish eating and so we just didn't order anything to eat. Everyone took a lot of pictures, and our desert was the gummy rats that Tuan brought everyone. Oh and it was funny, Tuan was counting how many gifts we got Peter and in total he somehow got 23 so he said it worked if your counting by the Chinese age. I don't know but it was funny how Tuan kept coming up with things to make the presents more meaningful with their one dollar cost. Afterwards, we left around 9pm, and Tuan and I went out to find a place to eat which was Cali, a Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered my food in Vietnamese! Tuan taught me how to, haha, that was the funniest time of the night me trying to speak Vietnamese. I tried to say "Hi Friend" but in the end I kept saying "Hi Cake" -_-' so hard to pronounce the words especially the word "Friend." Tuan drove me back home at almost 10pm, and he had to go back to work (since it was his last day working there and had to make sure all the paper work was done or something). Oh and the Vietnamese’s food was good! In Vietnamese it would be called "Bun Bo Hu'e" or something like that.
