On The Journey
So i best get you all upto date with whats been goin on....
So i formed a band with my mate craig roughly a month ago now and its all been goin really well, we've been given lots of gigs and theres been alot of intrest shown in us and we're all really excited.
Our first gig is tomorrow night here in Edinburgh and for it being my first time to ever appear on stage in front of a 300+ crowd... actually for performing on stage for the first time ever to anyone, im really more excited than nervous if im honest... tho yesterday kinda put a dampner on my overall buzz\vibe as i screwed things up pretty royally...
We booked a place at The Depot which is one of the best rehersal\recording studio here in Edinburgh, its usually fully booked so we were surprised to phone up and get a place for the same day... luck must be shining on us we thought... so 6pm came and we all left with our gear to catch 1 of 2 buses to the studio, we get to the next stop and i put down my bass and a little bag i was carrying for the singer that had his delay pedal in it for vocals, my cell fone rings and its my gf so i spark up a ciggie and catch away to her for abit whilst we wait on a bus, then a bus came to which i looked up and thought i read Granton on the front of the bus, cool thats where we're goin my brain thought whilst trying to smoke the end of my ciggie and listen to what my gf is sayin amongst everything else, so i point and say theres a bus and we all grabbed our stuff and got on..... only problem was i'd left the delay pedal at the bus stop and we were on a bus that goes to Crammond not Granton , so we missed the entire rehersal and when we got back to that bus stop someone had smashed the delay pedal and all the contents of the bag into peices......
The saga continues....
