Fanime 2012
In two months, it will be Fanime 2012 in San Jose, California :3 Fanime is one of the best USA cons, and I've been going since 2004! Today was the last day to pre-reg, so I paid mine just in time ><;; For Fanime, you choose a "fan" name to go on your badge, and this year I chose something different than usual! For the first two years, I was "nachogirlashly" (long story), then I became "Insane-Chan" from 2006-2011. But, I decided to change my nick name this year to "Futsukushii-Chan"
"Futsukushii" is a Kaiba word/meme, that comes from episode 54 in the Japanese dub. It's amazing, and I thought it made a great fan name, so I'm really happy that I picked it! I can't wait to see it on my badge xD;;
I'm really torn about cosplaying this year though. For the first time in a long time, I can't afford to cosplay, so I'm really really bummed :< cosplay is so much fun, so I'm really going to miss it! I was playing to be Mana from Yugioh, and my friends were also going to be Yugioh characters. But I can't afford a cosplay like that....so, I'm looking for alternatives. My secondary choices are two vocaloid cosplays: Rolling Girl Miku, and Panda Hero GUMI. Both only need a wig, and the rest are regular clothes. But, they both look fantastic, and I'd really like to give them a shot if I can! But if my budgeting is correct, I can only afford to buy one wig, so...yeah. I have a month to decide though, so we'll see how that goes.
