First Japanese Lesson Ever

Yaaay, cool ne? I'm so excited about this course!
I didn't learn anything new today, but I didn't expect that either... It is a beginners' course after all so I'm a bit ahead. All the stuff about introducing yourself and saying hello and goodbye and such is easy.. And I already know kana. Luckily, there are a few others who are ahead as well. So... Uhm, first: My teacher is a middle-aged Japanese woman named Kinoshita Sumiyo... She's really nice. Not much to say about that. She has a cute accent and weird sentence construction. Heh.

Anyway, I didn't get to talk much with the others but here are my first impressions anyway:
The first ppl I met were an old married couple who wants to learn Japanese because they're planning a trip there. They're into Japanese gardens and such. I doubt I'll talk much with them.
Then there was this little girl. Seriously, she can't be more than 13 or something. She has taken the course before AND she has been to Japan. Lucky brat. Anyway, I can't decide if I like her or not yet, though... May be slightly annoying.
Next to me were a middle-aged woman, Ulla. We talked for a bit and did exercises together and I think she's really nice. Apparently she had meant to study Japanese once but had to give up because of work and children.
Hmmm... There was another middle-aged woman as well. She wants to learn Japanese because she had some Japanese friends on some school and got interested... She's not really my type, but pretty nice. I talked with her on the bus and I am going to give her some of my music xD Yay.

The there was another girl my age who had also had Japanese lessons before. She was.. So much like me. She wants to study Japanese at the university next year, teach English in Japan and - this is important - she's a Jrock fan! *Squeal* She recognised Miyavi on my bag! We didn't get to talk much but I already know that she likes Miyavi, Gackt, Dir en Grey and Versailles. Yay. So uhm.. Hopefully I'll get to talk with her next time.

The rest - I'm gonna take them as a group since they were all sitting at the other table so I didn't talk with them at all - and they all had the same basic interest: Manga and anime. Yeah, that kind of ppl. All my age, mixed gender... It'll be fun I think.
There's one thing, though. I think I know one of the guys.. As in, I think he's a friend of my friend and I've sat in his lap in a stuffed car once... Nothing implied, I just needed a lift. Yeah, I'm sure it's him actually xD

Hmm... Yeah, that's it... So, I'm excited about next time xD

Chiyo!
