Oh my god, my copy of Tales of the Red Panda: The Crime Cabal came in the mail today and I literally went "squee!" in the post office. In front of people.

IT'S SO PRETTY.

I'm...a terrible person. I was at work for about 3 hours today, and I stuck my copy in the cart of books I was working on so I could read it for about 3 minute intervals in between, you know, actually doing my job. On the plus side, IT'S AWESOME.

Ok, on Friday afternoon I had to finish my take-home test for Abnormal, and I literally had to hide the book under my pillow across the room so that I wouldn't be tempted to keep reading it. I am apparently strong-willed in all things but Decoder Ring Theatre.

Fortunately, it worked and I finished my test, so I was able to finish it yesterday. No spoilers, but OH MY GOD SO GOOD. My only gripe is that Gregg kinda needs a copy editor; I caught a bunch of typos that made it through, and it sort of pulls you out of the story. Otherwise, I loved it!

...and now there are no more. DAMMIT. I suppose I just have to wait 'til next weekend for my fix.
