1. In Japan, I could whip out my DS on the train and would never get a second glance (well, at least for the DS; being gaijin may have gotten me a stare or two). Now that I'm back at Vassar, I can't do that anymore, and it drives me crazy.
2. I am quite the party girl: I have taken to going to bed by 10 on weekends.
3. Kathryn loaned me the first season, and I have realized something: I AM Ugly Betty....right down to the name.
4. I have officially developed a fashion sense, and if I had the money, my wardrobe would be nothing but "librarian chic".
5. When I was in elementary school, I wanted to be a marine biologist, but by middle school I had given that dream up. Why? Because I figured I could never work a job that required being underwater when I can't see further than a foot and a half in front of me without my glasses, and the thought of losing a contact in a giant tank mortified me.
6. For all my normal cynicism, when it comes to movies and tv, I can become a blubbering mess at the drop of a hat.
7. People keep saying "Niki, you should cut your hair, it'd be so cute!". I just wish someone would say that they like it how it is, so that I'm not the only one.
