Kristen I believe in God & have a close relationship with him. Im even a Revrend. BUT I believe God teaches LOVE (and dont judge) ...regardless of their actions because God lives in us all. I also believe SOME people who are inherently evil (Hitler, child rapists) are soul-less and part of the devils fleet on Earth. I dont believe homosexuality is evil. I believe just as none of us are perfect, none of us should judge or be prevented from loving.

Are you aware of the Catholic Church and Constantine and how the Bible (as everyone knows it) is only an excerpt of the true Bible in the Vatican. ONLY the Pope is allowed to read it. They have hidden much and not released it to the world, as a way of control? Just as politicians are corrupt...it is soo sad that even our own Bible isnt accurate by a long shot. I believe in LOVE, not propaganda. I research and dont take whats fed to me because I just dont trust blindly. Every person should be allowed the freedom God gave us (in free will) to find their way to God. I dont force my beliefs on anyone, and my kids are open minded and find their own ways. Those ways start with Love, and end with what resonates with them.

Michael Im glad you can tell me i can't have god in my heart, all im saying is the bible has been wrong before, and countless times, has been proven that it contradicts itself. For example, the bible clearly states that the universe revolves around the earth, and it was created 6,000 years ago. I've read the bible before and i think it is a great book to follow for a moral structure in life, but its not always factual.

Lillian Most electricity runs on oil, but that's not the point. I didn't know that the school systems were teaching children how to be homosexual... Oh, wait, they're not. I don't even want to mention that we grew up in a pretty crazy world where the president was cheating on his wife, Brazilian jeans and mini skirts, along with drugs and other influences. During our time, bullying and peer pressure were just ways of growing up, now those are issues being addressed. We didn't turn out so bad, why would he? You should have faith that God will show your child the "right" way and educate him, instead of sheltering him from the world. That's why I don't know you anymore, cause if I knew you, I know that my last sentence would have been your explanation for having your child grow up "in this crazy world".

Geranie Sheree You know what. Im not gonna state your faults but no my life isn't ok. My dads a jerk who used to beat us, who cheated on my mom and left. My baby's father is another jerk who used to beat me when i was pregnant because i wouldn't get an abortion and after marrying my friend now he wants to take my son away. I graduated with honors but i cant go to college or get a job because im out of "status" Ive been living here since 1994 but that doesn't mean anything. Brazilian jeans and mini skirts aren't a bad thing as long as you fit into them. this world is full of immorality and trash and that's because people allow it to be that way. but when we were in school our teachers never said two dads or two moms are OK. It wasn't spoken of. The person you knew before was an irresponsible young woman who only cared for herself. Once you become a mother you'll understand. I don't wish to insult you or anyone, at the end of the day this is my son and I'll raise him as i please. and it's not about " oh life sucks, but we turned out OK." because like any parent i don't want my son to live the things i live i want him to have a better life and not settle for whatever society thinks is right. I've never agreed with your morals and ethics but kept to myself out of respect. So respect my opinion and my choices for raising my son. In the end this is my opinion on my wall, if anyone doesn't like it then don't comment, un-friend me or block me.

Lillian I was educated on all of those topics early in my life (around the second grade), and I don't have any diseases (STD or aids, nor have a ever had anything remotely close), never gotten pregnant, not addicted to drugs, never had any form of alcohol poisoning (never thrown up, never had a hangover, never blacked out), never gotten a DUI... the list goes on all because I was educated young. My parents taught me that these are the trials and tribulations of life and that I should be aware that these things happen (drugs, alcohol, promiscuity), that I should be careful and that there are consequences if I choose these paths.
Sure, my life isn't perfect, but I believe that if I wasn't educated on any of these, I would've been in the dark and more than likely have done something stupid (yes, Geranie, more stupid than the things I have already done). I was also taught morality, corruption, the importance of children and the appreciation for human life. I've met a a lot of people along my way of life who were taught early about these things (and who I have expressed my feelings to) who have had the same outcome as I.

Lillian I'm not insulting you, Geranie, I am simply asking why. If your argument is so strong, it shouldn't offend me and it should be able to stand up on it's own. You're right, this isn't about you, it's about your son, and I love him and I believe in him, already, that he will have the strength to be smarter than us and live better lives than we did, that he will be successful as well as happy. Geranie Sheree Im not against you, you are the one that doesn't agree with my opinion which is perfectly fine because we aren't robots. You're the one who is taking this to another level. All I have ever said is I dont think its correct for people to teach kids in pre-school about homosexuality and wouldn't accept my son to be taught about it being ok. In my eyes its not ok! You made this personal and long suffering with your need for others to see things your way and not respecting opinions. Yes, you insulted me when you add getting pregnant, a joy to most women, to acts of immortality like ADULTERY, DRUG ADDICTION and PROMISCUITY. I being a young mother take that as an insult. Yes this world is crap but by refusing my son being taught that homosexuality is okay, I am making him a better person. In this whole debate I never said he should hate homosexuals. Just that it must be stressed that its not OK. Once again I'm forced to state that this is my opinion on raising my infant child, and that I don't agree with your ways or your logic so it should be the end of that.
