Yet, at the end of every cold war
I am always the one who breaks the silence
Perhaps you knew all along I won't be able to hold it long
Perhaps you knew all along I love you more
So you can keep your silence stubbornly
So you can wait for my apology with pride
Perhaps one has to give in in every relationship
And I became that one
I do not mind putting myself down to please you
But have you realised how my heart hurts?
It hurts, not because I need to back down & apologise
It hurts, because you can simply not answer my calls after a fight
It hurts, because you always say those hurtful words
