Happy Birthday J!! <- 100 Reasons Why You're The King
I've wanted to write this list ever since i read Mich of finalu_beamu's one a few months back but i decided to wait until Jun's Birthday to post it!
So first off, HAPPY 28TH BIRTHDAY MATSUJUN!!!!!!!!!
Yup you know what's coming right? I always write a short summary of why i love each member for their birthday but since this is none other then Matsujun, my one and only ichiban's birthday, this will be the longer version..... The much longer version. ^_^
None of these will be in any order, just as i think of them!! ^_^
1. His smile <- Really, it brightens my whole day!
2. His hair <- I am constantly so fascinated with his ever-changing hair! Its so beautiful!!
3. His voice (speaking) <- I can recognise all of the members voices with my eyes closed but there's something about Jun's that i just love, it so...... amazing.! I can't really explain it.
4. His voice (singing) <- Yeah i know, everyone says he's the worst singer in Arashi but i honestly love his voice! I always have! *~* Maybe i'm biased.
5. His eyes <- They're gorgeous! I could spend forever looking at them.....actually i do do that!
6. His fashion <- I don't care what Mannequin Five says, i LOVE his fashion sense! The only exception has to be his outfit for the first M5 special! :P But still, he looks great in anything!
7. His hats <- Like his fashion, i love his multitude of hats, even if it does cover up his pretty hair! I also love that he collects them, it makes him seem more real or something.
8. His rings <- Same as above.
9. Him in runners/trainers/sneakers/converse <- Whatever you call them (i call them runners) Can't explain this, i just think he looks adorable when he wears them
10. His nicknames <- This is a big one! I love how he has so many nicknames! The fact that i refered to this list as "100 Reasons Why I Love Matsujun" emphasises it. DoS Bancho, J, Bambi, King, Matsujun, Junji, Junnosuku - there are so many and i love them all!!
11. How shy he is <- I find it soooooooooo adorable that despite how succesful he is and how much of a "cool" vibe he gives off, he is one of the shyest celebrities i've ever seen! Its so adorable in interviews! I LOVE this about him!
12. His coolness <- How everyone thinks he is so cool! ^_^
13. His coolness FAIL <- How back in the older days of Arashi especially, he would try and act so cool but the other members would make him do something really stupid and his whole facade would be ruined!! :P
14. His dorky laugh <- Seriously he's like such a nerdy kid when he laughs!! Its adorable.
15. How Arashi = Family <- I will never forget how when asked what Arashi was to him, he answered "family". My love for him skyrocketed at that point!
16. How much he cares for Arashi <- Similar to above. I love that genuinely he cares about Arashi! He loves them all so much and is so concerned about their health!
17. How he's the youngest <- I'm the youngest in my family (of five siblings coincedentally enough) so i always relate with the youngest! ^_^
18. How he's not the youngest <- Despite his age, he seems one of the oldest in Arashi! He's always scolding Riida and Aiba!
19. How Arashi see him as the youngest <- I've always got the impression that despite him acting so much older, the other members always look after him! They always seem really concerned for him and such! Its very sweet! They kinda treat him as the baby! <3
20. La Familia <- The fact that he wrote a song for Arashi titled "The Family" really says it all!
21. Yabai-Yabai-Yabai <- I absolutely adore this song! Its my go-to feel good and cheer-up song! :D
22. WISH <- Jun's solo in the 5x10 concert, not the original song! Just utterly amazing!!
23. How he is the concert-master <- When i found that out, i think i nearly had a heart attack. I love the complete WOW-ness of their concerts and the complete over-the-top firework displays/etc and to find that out that Jun is in charge of all that!! *dies*
24. How much of an entertainer he is <- Just look at his solos!
25. How he went to five Broadway shows in New York <- I think it was five anyway, i'm too lazy to look it up right now! I've always wondered could he understand what was going on with his limited English but i think its brilliant that he went. It seems so him.
26. His English <- How he just can't speak it!
27. His accent when speaking English <- Like, he tries so hard, bless him! ^_^;
28. The dog-suit <- English related again. When i first got into the fandom i remember watching a video of Jun in a dalmation suit knocking on someone's door and speaking very limited english to them! I haven't been able to find it since but it is engraved in my memories!
29. Jun cosplaying as anything <- And how he looks amazing regardless! :P
30. M no Arashi <- Haha the cruelist corner imo! I love how he didn't have any choice in his own corner and the other members just made him pick up rubbish and stuff!
31. His flexibility <- Seriously!! Ok this actually amazes me!! O_O I saw him fit inside a duffel bag!! A DUFFEL BAG! And his little demonstration wih the balance ball! O_O Seriously!!
32. His hands <- They fascinate me
33. His solos <- I should've put this earlier but whatever! I love how all his solos are really different and how fun and catchy they are!
34. J28 <- Random but thats what is being used as his birthday hashtag on twitter! It was trending in Japan earlier! ^-^
35. Domyouji <- This feels like it should be number one or that it should take up about 10 points but really, REALLY! I think most Arashi fans are thankful for Domyouji!
36. His baiting line <- I'm forever proud to be Jun-baited!
37. How my love grows everyday <- I always hear about fans who are Jun baited but then move onto a different member for their ichiban over time! That never happened with me. I loved Jun from the start and love him more each day!
38. Hana Yori Dango <- How i got baited. This show literally changed my life! And i owe it all to Jun!
39. Momo <- I love Kimi wa Petto so much i named my dog Momo!
40. Shin <- I saw Gokusen pretty late for some reason but i fell in love with it! He's wonderful in it and i can totally see how his character in real life was affected by the role!
41. Vito <- Smile is so different than many of Jun's other dramas and i LOVED it so much! Vito was so cute and shy, the poor thing!
42. How Jun's mood is affected by the roles he played <- Most notably Shin, Domyouji and Vito
43. Ban Shogo <- I didn't like Bambino, as much as i tried to. Honestly Jun as Ban Shogo was the only thing that kept me watching it.
44. Taiga <- NatsuNiji on the other hand, was a drama i LOVED!! Wonderful!
45. How Jun likes to strip in concerts <- One of the best parts imo! ;)
46. His determination <- I really respect him for not giving up once he decides to do something!
47. How proffessional he is <- I always hear co-stars say they were afraid of Jun the first time they met on set because of how serious he was! I love this for some reason!'
48. How modest he is <- He really is very humble.
49. His stubborn-ness <- I can relate! :P
50. His competitive-ness <- YAY the half-way mark! Anyway i can also relate to this! How when he starts playing a game, he gets so into it and is determined to win no matter what!!
51. Ice climbing <- I can't forget that episode of D no Arashi where he tried ice climbing and even though it was SO hard and he wanted to go back he didn't. He kept going and managed to complete what he went there to do! MAJOR RESPECT!
52. How he's willing to try new things <- The above as an example
53. A no Arashi <- Yeah i know this was Aiba's corner but i loved that Jun was his sidekick for a lot of it and was so fascinated by the experiments even though he tried to pretend he wasn't.
54. Jun + Binoculars <- When he tried to grab that apple! LOL
55. Jun + Glasses <- HOW IS THIS SO FAR DOWN!??!?!? I'm a complete idiot for putting it as number 55, it should be in the top 10! I absolutely LOVE and ADORE Jun and his glasses! He looks absolutely wonderful in them! Its one of those times where i have trouble breathing while looking at him.
56. Oguri Shun is his best friend <- I'm quite a big fan of Shun and i love how him and Jun are best friends. Its adorable
57. His bromance with Shun <- He apparently said on his radioshow that if Shun was a girl, he'd marry him! :P Haha!! And lets not forget how he promised to promote Shun's movie no matter what! Ah JunxShun is an endless source of amusement!
58. JunStyle <- There was a period of time where i was addicted to his radioshow! Of course i could only understand about 3% of what he said but as i said i love listening to his voice! I really should try listening to it again now that i know more Japanese!
59. Jun's love affair with food <- He's so passionate about food, its so entertaining!
60. His cooking <- Not only that, he's an amazing cook but he always denies it! If only i could try some of his cooking ~
61. He's a HUNGER <- Haha thats just the phrase me and my friends use so i'm not sure how else to describe it but he just always seems to be hungry! I find it quite cute!
62. He is neko-jita <- Its so amusing when he eats spicy food because he really can't handle it! Its so fun to watch!
63. He looks so good in a suit <- Nuff said
64. My mother loves him <- And she doesn't generally like Japanese people! She thinks he's really handsome haha!
65. MJ loves MJ <- Its cute how much of a Michael Jackson fan he is! Its as if his name was on purpose! :P
66. Matsujun the fanboy <- Matsujun fanboying is probably one of the sweetest things i've seen in a long time!
67. How he loves Harry Potter <- He's such a fanboy for that too!
68. His love of baseball <- If someone even mentions it in conversation, he becomes so interested! I can't count the amount of times i've heard him say "I love baseball, i used to be a catcher!"
69. His love of manga <- I don't really no why but i find it sweet
70. How he's a "pharmacy" <- I think it was Ohno who said this! I find it hilarious! Apparently Jun always provides Aiba with pills for his hay fever because apparently he has any kind of pill in his house! :P
71. His colour is purple <- Another one of those points that should be further up.... My favourite colour is purple, always has been so i just love Jun even more for being "the purple one"
72. How he almost drowned during filming because of his tight clothes <- This really shouldn't be funny but the way he described it made me laugh so much! Luckily the rescuers were there in time though!
73. How he's such a daredevil and adrenaline junkie <- He seems to really enjoy skydiving and dangerous things like that!
74. How he did his own stunts for NatsuNiji <- Again he's an adrenaline junkie
75. How he makes me terrified watching him do some of the stuff they do on their shows <- Like that experiment with inertia! My god my heart nearly stopped! I don't know why thats a "Love" T_T
76. His CHIBI days <- Can anyone not love him when he was a Junior?
77. His wonky teeth <- Before he got them fixed or whatever. Although i love his smile now, there was something so charming about his mouth full of wobbly teeth! Haha!
78. His fanboying over Sho <- Every fan knows this and so much fanfiction has been inspired by it. The old days when Sho was the angry, moody one and Jun was the super excited, dorky fanboy.
79. How DoS he can be <- When he snaps at someone or something. You gotta love it!
80. His flaws <- i love them as much as his good points i think. They make him a more likeable person imo. I wouldn't like him if he were too perfect!
81. Jun the STAR <- How everyone refers to him as that now!
82. How he was GQ Man of The Year in 2008 <- So proud!
83. How he can make anyone (or anything) fall for him without trying <- Seriously the amount of guests who have mentioned it! Haha both men and women! ^_^
84. His sad relationship with animals <- He loves them so much, why do they hate him? But it does make good television!
85. How he wants a puppy <- Momo with a Momo!!?!?
86. How he's one with nature <- Is it just me or does he seem very zen?
87. How he's friends with the staff <- He's very close with the staff-chan and is always going drinking with them! He even went to New York with one of them! Lucky!
88. How he has so many friends <- Nino once said he was jealous because he always gets calls at 11pm asking can he go out for a drink.
89. How he's such an amusing drunk <- Obviously i've never seen it but a lot of people (like Mao) have mentioned that he becomed really sociable and needy when he drinks! Haha
90. All of the Jun pairings <- I ship them all although i'm tied between Juntoshi and Sakumoto being my OTP! Although then sometimes Junba and Matsumiya sneak in and make me all confused again! Basically i'm a JunxArashi shipper! :P
91. How he's so emotional <- He admits that he cries when he watches movies and he was bawling during Aiba's letter! You can tell he holds it back a lot at concerts too!
92. How he tries to act like he isn't scared when he's terrified <- Perfect example = the haunted house eps of HnA and the recent one with Perfume! So cute!
93. How in that same ep he got so annoyed when the ghost touched his hat <- That deserves its own point for anusement factor alone!
94. How he has such a distinct face that he can't disguise <- I love that no matter what he does, he always gets found out! Apparently he doesn't even bother anymore! Poor thing but at the same time, Haha!
95. His eyebrows <- Their mentioned enough to deserve their own point!
96. How he likes when fans approach him <- Its so refreshing to hear from a celeb
97. How he's never had a scandal <- Its both surprising and funny because i can't imagine him engaging in anything scandalous! Haha!
98. All the An-An photoshoots <- That magazine is just amazing! I have two of the issues with his photoshoots and they're just so pretty!! Actually all of his photoshoots are gorgeous!
99. How you were used as a prize in HnA <- That will always be one of my absolute favourite episodes. Just epic is so many ways! And just because i don't want to have 101 points, i'll put here how much i love that he has his own obsessed celebrity fan - Ooshima Miyuki! :P
100. How much he's improved in VSA <- I remember the first episode where he failed so much and then how he improved gradually until now where he is completely amazing! Especially in Cliff Climbing and Falling Pipes! I'm forever amazed! :D

100. How much he's improved in VSA <- I remember the first episode where he failed so much and then how he improved gradually until now where he is completely amazing! Especially in Cliff Climbing and Falling Pipes! I'm forever amazed! :D
