Flynn has a strong sense of justice, and is stubborn when it comes to his duties. He works hard, and usually goes by the book. There are times that he pulls an underhanded trick, yet he only does so if he has no choice in the matter. Flynn knows the law intimately, and his time as Commandant has given him experience in politics. If someone breaks the law, he will make sure that he or she gets the punishment they deserved, even if it was necessary, no matter whom they are or what their status is. He tends to have a harder hand when dealing with Yuri.
He gives respect to people in positions of power, but he isn’t afraid of pushing back, regardless of how well off said person is. Unfortunately, Flynn’s nature makes him work so hard that he constantly goes beyond his limits. It takes a person as stubborn as him in order to get him away from his work as Commandant. He has been known to work late into the night, and might accidentally skip meals because of this.
His personality changes depending on whom he is interacting with. If Flynn is interacting with Yuri, he tends to have a verbal sparring match with him, usually one laced with sarcasm and wit. He loses a bit of his formality when around his best friend, but only a little bit. Flynn is known to get really angry only with Yuri, and only outwardly shows a fraction of his frustration. Yet, he also shows a fondness for the man, if only when Yuri isn’t around to see it. When he is around others, he is polite and hides any negative emotions he may feel toward a situation that might stomp on a few important toes.
An important aspect of Flynn’s personality is his inability to ignore a person in need. He has to help them; it’s like a compulsion for him. If a crime is being committed, Flynn will stop at nothing to make sure the criminal gets punished for disobeying the law, but only by fair trial. If someone is injured, then he will make sure that they are okay. He cares about people, and wants to make them safe from anything that can cause them harm.
He is a man people can respect and look up to because he acts like how a Knight should. Flynn is honorable and fair, and will not take a life unless he needs to. He’s loyal to his friends, his Emperor, and to his fellow Knights, working to keep them all alive as best as he can. At the same time, he also knows that death is inevitable, especially when one works with the Imperial Knights. Flynn is well aware that anyone can die out in the field, and strives to make sure that the casualties are at a minimum.
However, underneath his ‘knight in shining armor’ personality runs a man who carefully plans his moves, and is very perceptive to the people around him. It’s his goal to change the justice system in the capitol, and it requires him to be careful in how he rises to the top. For the most part, Flynn lets his skill with the sword do the talking, but he also knows that he will need to get in with a few nobles and high-ranking Knights. He’s familiar with politics, deals with it every day, and works tirelessly to bring any deception into light. Flynn isn’t perfect; he does make mistakes and he has strayed from his goal once before. He learns from them and attempts to correct them, but there are times in which he needs to be reminded of the simple fact that nobody is perfect.
Despite working closely with nobles and politicians in general, he still dislikes the arrogant nobles he constantly sees. This is because he is disgusted by their behavior, and feels that the way the nobles in his home treat those with lesser status is unjust. Despite that, he keeps a stiff upper lip to avoid unnecessary conflict and friction between him and them.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Since this is before the defeat of the Adephagos, Flynn still retains his bodhi blastia, which is the source of his Artes.
First Aid: This is the healing power Flynn has. A gold, magic circle will surround him, allowing him to heal himself or one other person. For serious injuries, he will need to constantly cast this spell.
Holy Lance: This Arte is a light elemental spell in which a giant sword of light will pierce the ground to deal damage to those near it.
Guardian Field: This Arte is a Healing Arte that heals himself and those around him simultaneously. At the same time, the attack deals damage to any monsters caught in the field. It hurt/heals three times, usually dealing moderate damage/healing.
Beast: An attack that knocks back the enemy.
Demon Fang: A shockwave sent toward the foe.
Demonic Circle: When it is used, the character swings his or her sword around in a circle, before slamming it into the ground to create a close-range shockwave that hits all enemies in a large arc in front of the character.
Demonic Chaos: Release two shockwaves followed by an even stronger shockwave. (description in Radiant Mythology)
Dragon Swarm: An attack that utilizes kicks and downward strikes of a sword, almost resembling a cartwheel (8-hits or less, depending on if he gets interrupted or not).
Sonic Thrust: A thrust that breaks the sound barrier.
Sword Rain: Alpha: Multiple thrusts of a sword in quick succession.
Tiger Blade: An upward swing that knocks the enemy into the air, then the character immediately jumps up to smack the foe down to the ground.
Radiant Dragon Fang: This is Flynn’s Mystic Arte, an Arte that can only be used when he is in Over Limit. It deals massive damage, but he has to wait until he is able to go into Over Limit in order to effectively use it. Constantly attacking him is one way of trying to prevent his use of this Mystic Arte.

A weakness of his can be the people around him, for he will do anything to protect them. Another can be His Imperial Highness, Ioder, and Lady Estellise for it is his duty to protect the Emperor, and the latter is an Imperial Candidate as well as Ioder’s distant cousin.

*Flynn can’t cook to save his soul, and can likely kill someone with whatever food he makes.
*He is one of the strongest swordsmen in the Empire, perhaps even in the whole of Terca Lumireis.

[After fiddling with the device for a couple minutes, the feed flickers to life, showing the wet Commandant in full focus. He frowns as he studies the curious starfish device.]
It doesn’t look as if it has a blastia core. [Flynn tilts his head.] Does that mean it runs on mana rather than aer? …A mage could tell me more, I would think.
[The blond sighs.]
I will also need to find out where I can get dry clothes. Perhaps even figure out a way to keep my bodhi blastia without the need of my armor….
[He pushes his bangs away from his eyes, hair plastered to his face with salty water. At this point, he notices the blinking red light, but he doesn’t understand just what it means.]
Hm, perhaps I will be better off asking the citizens of this city for more information. [After all, a little can go a long way.]
It is hard to imagine a city that can thrive under the sea, and yet….
