One of the "mild" side effects of Acutane is dry skin. I assumed this meant only in the facial area. I know my brother used to get really chapped lips when he was on it. After not even 48 hours of being medicated, my lips have almost cracked from being so chapped, my knuckles have indeed cracked and bled from such dry skin, and my face has dry, flaky spots all over that are rapidly spreading all over. The skin on my back is so dry I can't seem to stop needing to scratch at it. One of the warnings in one of the various pamphlets that came with the pills was that no hair removal (like waxing) should be done. I just plucked my eyebrows and the area plucked is now pulsating and irritated. I didn't think plucking my eyebrows would cause such an effect. My bad. All I have to say is that this shit had better work.
On a lighter note, I finished my history book on the American Revolution through British eyes. 338 pages thorougly read! But now I have to write a paper on it and I'm not sure how. I don't understand how I'm supposed to analyze a nonfiction book. Mr. Lange hasn't really explained that. We're also supposed to analyze the author's style. I'm not sure how much can be said about that.
I want a Joe Crede jersey. I never see them when I go to Sox games but a girl in my spanish class last year wore one and she said she found it in one of the trailer-vendors in the parking lot at a Sox game. Damn my luck.
