A short while back, I posted a list of upcoming fall activities. Here is the official invite to the first of them! I do hope some of you will be able to attend!
Host: Kristi Dorson
Location: County Line Orchard
200 County Line Road, Hobart, IN 46342 US
When: Sunday, September 28, 11:30AM
It's that beloved time of year once more! Won't you join us at County Line Orchard for some apple-picking fun?
http://www.countylineorchard.com County Line is great for family fun. Besides you-pick-'em apples, they also have:
*pumpkins and other festive fall crops
*a giant corn Maize
*wagon rides to the apples/pumpkins/maize (they call em 'picker people picker uppers'!)
*a farm with chicks, goats, bees and more
*a pumpkin eating dinosaur
*a craft barn
*home made fudge, home baked donuts, and a variety of other delicious fall foods
*and more!
We will meet there at 11:30 and go through the farm activities, then do lunch, the corn maize, and then pick some apples! If you can't make it right at 11:30, chances are we'll be there for a few hours so please call; you can probably catch us.
In the event of truly terrible rain, we will cancel this event. Unfortunately this is the only day my family can go so we can't set a 'rain date'. If you're concerned, call me the morning of and I'll tell you if it's been cancelled.
Hope to see you there!
