Because of this, I keep receiving introductory emails from Accounts Receivable reps that go something like this. "Dear Temp, payment is due." Ah, accountant "humor." Usually, when I send a response that goes something like "Hi there, my name is Chitinous and I just set up a PO for your invoice and this is the process your payment will take with Finance," I get a response back like "Hi, Chitinous, thank you."
Today I got a passive aggressive second "Hello Temp." Plus instructions on how to pay them.
