Oh I am so glad someone else has read it! :)

I re-read it last night after posting. Well, it was late so I got to the point where Ann gets the letter from Laura, and then went to sleep :)

Great entry. I've never read a comic book because they are sort of visual, but this made me curious. I was expecting you to say your favorite book was something eally intense or something.

Thank you!

One of the things about the book is that it is very conversation-intense. So even though some of the jokes are within the images, you don't necessarily need the images to appreciate it.

I miss my first copy, especially since it had the original cover illustration. I recently looked on Amazon, and the cover is different yet again. It makes me want to look on alibris for an original.

Yep, us Californians are our own breed. LOL! Great entry and I'll have to see if I can find a copy of this anywhere.

:-D

I think you can still get it but it is the umpteenth edition now, so I don't know how much has changed :)

I just re-read it last night while I was up with the baby. I love how it's a little dated, obviously takes place in the early 90s and stuff, you know? So there's the nostalgia factor too.
