A series of uncomfortable events

Yesterday morning on the tube, there was a woman looking like she was doing her prayers. They involved a lotta rocking forward and backwards and weird facial expressions, and she was puffing air out one nostril, then the other... She was wearing trousers and a modern looking big coat, no head scarf, and her shoes were off and neatly to the side.

Quite a few people were openly watching her, including me, I even lowered my book to observe. Is it racist of me to be alarmed? The woman had a backpack... and I was wondering whether she was doing some last rites, and whether they'd be my last rites? That is, until she pulled fruit out of her bag and started shovelling it in, her cheeks bulging like a chipmonk's while she chewed and read some sort of religious text. The whole time, she didn't make eye contact with anyone..

At the gym
Some guy was blustering around inside the ladies' change room. I'd just stepped out of the shower to grab my towel and was totally starkers. Coz it was slightly too cool out of the shower cubicle, I went back in to dry off. That was when the dude called out, "Is this the ladies change room?" and I was too startled and just shouted "Yes!" instead of something more snarky. I told reception,
Reception: Was the guy naked?
Me: Dunno. didn't see him. But I was
Reception: Oh no, and now you're traumatised for life.
Me: Nope, if he'd been 10s earlier, he'dve seen me and he'd be traumatised for life!

Leaving the door open
The plumber was in this morning. Freshly back from the gym, I was trying to get changed and Butters kept marching and out and leaving the door open. GRRR! >.< Some strong words were exchanged.

gripes, light reading
