Lengthy mumbly voicemail from Jayessah (interim pseudo manager - the guy who signs my timesheets). Short phone call with him at 10pm because he forgot to call back earlier. Basically, the gist is that the config guy didn't write his spec properly. This, despite talking to the devs and the stakeholders numerous times. What he did was shove a bunch of stuff into a document, and hand it to the devs.
Requirements that were too vague, they didn't do.
Requirements that didn't make sense, they didn't do.
Requirements that were out of scope, they didn't do.
So what Jayessah wants me to do is this: go there and fix that document so that it reflects what was developed. Reverse engineer a functional specification. And do this by COB tomorrow.
