About Me (Aya)
Well, some of you people probably know me, I do have other LJs, they are ayakimura and ayakanishi. My ayakimura LJ is for my JUMP fandom; it has fanfics, and download links for their DVD releases. Meanwhile, my ayakanishi is for KAT-TUN, but I am inactive there now, because of a long story which I will narrate now.
I started being a fan way back 2006-ish...? I believe I was 14 that time. I started because a classmate of mine kept on bugging me to watch Gokusen, yes, the original Gokusen, but I kept on ignoring her. I was like "No! It's showing the same time as Naruto! I cannot choose that over Naruto" and yes... I started liking Japan as an otaku. My dad used to work at Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and he got to go to Japan six times, so, he's probably my first influence when it comes to liking anything Japanese. ANYWAY... So, Gokusen was finished, and here comes Gokusen 2. I saw the commercial and I saw Akanishi Jin I was like, "DAMN HE IS GORGEOUS!" it was most definitely, love at first sight, no doubt! So, I talked to my classmate who's been convincing me to watch Gokusen, and told her about it. That is where it all started, with Akanishi Jin, and then Kamenashi Kazuya. I didn't know at first they're part of a popular group called KAT-TUN. When Gokusen 2 ended, I didn't really pay much attention to them until I discovered Music Station in Animax at 2007, it was the second half of 2007. KAT-TUN was going to perform their new single, Yorokobi no Uta, and it was their very first song that I heard. Coincidentically, Hey!Say!7, the original, will be performing their single Hey!Say! and I loved them! They were so cute, and Yamada looked a bit like my half Japanese classmate. But, I'm still obsessed with KAT-TUN, I now officially fangirl them and started searching for their songs, and their members' names.
Few weeks after that, it was announced it Music Station that Hey!Say!7 will become Hey!Say!JUMP, and my reaction was, "What the heck?! Hey!Say!7 was so good" but I saw Inoo, and he's soooooooo gorgeous and he wants to be a KAT-TUN member, so I loved them right away, and their song Ultra Music Power is really good.
Around 2008, I'm so focused with KAT-TUN I kind of forgot about HSJ, and didn't give much care. November of 2008, I migrated from the Philippines to Canada.. OOOH CAAAANADAAAAA! Because all I can do here in Canada is be on my laptop, since it was winter and I didn't have friends yet that time, I became more focused with my KAT-TUN fandom. It was also around that time when KAT-TUN released their QoP DVD which was AAAWWWEEEEESOME. I fell in love with Jin even more, then Taguchi became my niban probably, he looked like a prince! It was JCD 2008-2009 when I heard from HSJ again, but I didn't really care again. During 2009, I became hooked with JRock, Alice Nine, The Gazette, and SuG. My favorite in Alice Nine was Hiroto, but now, it's Shou.
Back to J-pop. 2010 was very traumatic for me in the fandom. Akanishi left KAT-TUN to pursue his career as a solo artist in the US of A. I almost left the fandom, but thanks to Hey!Say!JUMP, I have been saved from doing a really big mistake. It's all thanks to their newly released single that time, Arigatou ~Sekai no Doko ni Itemo. Since I'm originally from the Philippines, I was really happy when I heard their "Salamat po" which they pronounced as saramappo.
After their single, they also released SUMMARY 2010. This is where I finally and officially shifted to the JUMP fandom. I was torn between Yamada, Takaki, and Inoo. But in the end, I dropped Yamada from the choices cause obviously, he belongs to Chinen, then there's Inoo and Takaki left. It was until October of 2011 when I was able to choose between the two, which was Takaki.
I became a full time JUMP fan and kept on buying their new singles, DVDs and albums. I thought I will be fully focused in JUMP, but Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou happened on April 2012. I first watched it because Takaki is there and Shintaro, of course, Ryutaro's baby bro. I know who the juniors with Shintaro are because I see them a lot in Shounen Club. He's with Kyomoto Taiga (my pair with Shintaro), Matsumura Hokuto, Tanaka Juri, Lewis Jesse, and Kouchi Yugo. I LOVED THEM! Like, LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I want them to debut so bad that 2013 was so painful for me because the management was in a process of experimenting like which juniors would be best with others. Hokuto and Jesse were being passed to other juniors, Taiga, Shin, Yugo and Juri were left, then when Hokuto was grouped with them again, Taiga was separated with Jesse. AAAAAHH! I won't go into too much details with these guys cause I can probably write a whole freaking book for them! OR! Remind me, to maybe dedicate a single post for these six.
So yeah, from JUMP, I started to slowly flowing to the Juniors fandom, specifically "Bakaleya6". But ever since I became full time with JUMP, then SixTONES (B6 is now SixTONES, and it's read as STONES), my status as a JE fan has been cemented and no matter which artists or group you show me, I WILL NOT WAVER! Unless it's Akanishi Jin, WHO I STILL LOVE AS OF THIS MOMENT! And yes, I still buy Jin's releases, unless he releases something almost the same time as JUMP, then I'll choose JUMP's release, sorry Jin.
