The Spanish and Portuguese word for 'happy' is 'feliz.' The Latin word for 'happy' is 'felix.' The Italian word for 'happy' is 'felice.' I, myself, feel rather indifferent at the moment due to lack of mental stimulation, but that's an entry for another day. My point will begin to form in my next sentence. From those three examples, it is natural for us to assume that the name 'Felicia' is most likely of Latin origin (because Latin came first) and also means happy.
Going from that, there is a Felicia in particular that quite a few people are paying close attention to. I know that some of my friends have definitely heard of her and when I reveal her last name, I bet that even a few people who are not yet my friends will recognize her. Felicia Day. (or 'Happy' Day, if you wish...) Yes, she was in Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. But she is also in the lesser-known web series named The Guild. Basically, she and five other characters participate in a World of Warcraft-type MMORPG and decide to meet one day in real life and thus begins a tale of real lives vs. fake lives, and so forth. There's a bit more to it than that, but I think I would much rather let you enjoy it for yourself. Don't worry, you don't need to be a video game geek to understand the jokes. They are normal jokes that anyone can get, even me... Here is the link to the pilot episode found on youtube...
